Christmas is right around the corner, and usually I promise my self (and Tina) that I will do illustrations for everyone instead of expensive gifts (well.. my talent IS a gift, etc.). Usually I fall through on these ingenious ideas for gifts and end up giving cash or nothing at all (sorry Mom and Dad). This year we have fewer people to buy for, while the family seems to be expanding more and more every year, the overall feeling of dread of buying for more than 5 people sets in and finally we have all agreed to gift games, much like ‘white elephant’ (not related to the republican party), but with good gifts so that no one is disappointed.
Above these fine, fine words is the in-progress rendering for my gift. I found a nicely ‘aged’ frame at Target and will fill it with this masterpiece upon completion.I will post the ‘in progress’ steps as I get to them. I encourage you to ad comments and to ask questions.

Thank you.-David
