
This was done a while ago, too. It was a “book cover” project from college for the “Myths of China and Japan”. I really liked how this turned out.
The masks are the part that make it about camouflage, possibly the ability to blend in with humans. Perhaps she is a dragon herself, in human form…

I think this is my favorite Poe piece. Not only is the composition sensational, but you got the mood just right with the colors. I love how you included the stark white elements–they play so well in this.
