We have been having a lot of discussions lately about finding time to draw. It sounds weird now, “finding the time”; there was a time that I thought that was all I would be doing… I realized yesterday that my speed drawing was..well… lacking speed. This morning Tina did a few poses for me as I sketched into PainterIX. We have both been obsessing over these digital painters, mainly caricature artists, who have a unique and interesting concept of bones and faces and details that somehow look JUST LIKE the person while completely over exaggerated. Design is in the details? A face is all about the characteristics.
